Voting lines are opened immediately after the live Nominations show on Mondays at 10 pm WAT. The lines close on Thursday nights at 10 pm WAT.
How to Vote on BBNaija 2020
The essence of your votes on Big Brother Naija 2020 is to retain your chosen housemate in the show. The more the votes, the more likely that your favourite housemate would not be evicted.
According to the organisers of the show, there are just 4 ways to Vote on BBNaija 2020.

How to Vote on Big Brother Naija 2020 via SMS
Voting on Big brother Naija 2020 through SMS is only available in Nigeria and on MTN, Airtel and 9Mobile Only.
To vote for your favourite Housemate follow these simple step.
Text the word ‘VOTE’ and the name of the Housemate to 32052,
E.g "VOTE Mercy"
You are allowed to vote as much as possible
Note: Each SMS will cost N30

Voting on Big Brother 2020 via Mobile Website is free, but limited to a total of 100 votes per user.
You firstly need to register on Africa Magic Mobile Website.
Once registered, you will be able to vote for your desired housemate.
Steps to vote on the Mobile Website:
- Click on the vote menu item.
- Sign in with your cell phone number in the International format. E.g +234xxxxxxxxxx
- Enter your password
- Select your chosen Housemate.
- Enter your Number Of votes and click VOTE.
How to Vote On Big Brother Naija 2020 via Desktop Website
Voting on Big Brother 2020 via Desktop Website is basically the same as voting on the Mobile Website.
You firstly need to register on Africa Magic Website.
Once registered, you will be able to vote for your desired housemate.
Steps to vote on the Desktop Website:
- Click on the vote menu item.
- Sign in with your cell phone number in the International format. E.g +234xxxxxxxxxx
- Enter your password
- Select your chosen Housemate.
- Enter your Number Of votes and click VOTE.
How to Vote on Big Brother Naija 2020 via MyDStv or MyGOtv App
To vote via MyDStv or MyGOtv, you would need to be an active DStv or GOtv Subscriber in Nigeria.
Here are the steps in voting:
- Download the MyDStv or MyGOtv App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Log into the app selecting Nigeria; your surname or mobile number and your smartcard number.
- Once you’ve logged into your MyDStv or MyGOtv app account page, look for the “Vote Now” button.
